Sharon Park Camp Bell

Sharon Park Camp holds many memories to long-time Free Methodists.  The camp, located near Hancock, was a favorite place for revivals and family gatherings.  People tell of salvation experiences through the ministry of the camp.

The story of the Sharon Park Camp bell …

Over time the Sharon Park Camp fell into disrepair.  It was eventually sold.  NHCC put in a request for the bell.  It was mounted on top of the portico at the church.  A bell ringing ceremony was held on October 25, 2014, in conjunction with a 10 Year Anniversary event of NHCC.

The Windsor District is made up of 6 churches:  Maplecrest, Windsor, Horton Brook, Liberty, Livingston Manor and Walton.   When the camp was sold, a portion was tithed to Camp Timberledge. The remaining balance was divided by the six churches. Walton’s portion was put toward the building project. The NHCC family is forever grateful for this investment by the Windsor District into the future of the God’s work in Walton.
