Men’s Ministry

The goal of this ministry is to help the men of New Hope grow spiritually and be active participants in the church “family.” God calls upon men to be spiritual leaders not only in their homes, but in their communities as well.

Promise Keepers

Promise Keepers centers its ministry on a set of seven personal commitments for Christian men.

  • Honoring Jesus Christ through worship, prayer, and obedience to God’s Word in the power of the Holy Spirit.
  • Pursuing vital relationships with a few other men, understanding that he needs brothers to help him keep his promises.
  • Practicing spiritual, moral, ethical, and sexual purity.
  • Building strong marriages and families through love, protection, and biblical values.
  • Calling to be Jesus hands and feet, serving others with integrity, purposely lifting up the leadership of the church and his nation in prayer.
  • Reaching beyond any racial, denominational, generational, and cultural barriers to demonstrate the power of biblical unity.
  • Influencing his world, being obedient to the Great Commandment and the Great Commission.

Work Days

Church work days and missions focus on practical service, connecting routine labor, community stewardship, and faith. They generally split into internal facilities upkeep or outward global and local outreach.

Mother’s Day Meal

Men prepare a meal for the mothers on Mother’s Day.
