The Board of Stewards assists in the ministry of people to ensure that their spiritual and social needs are met. As ministers of God’s love, the stewards are organized in the following manner. Come be a part of being the hands and feet of Jesus to a world in need!

Visitation

The Visitation Ministry extends visits to shut-ins, sick, and aged in our church and community.

Meals

The Food Ministry provides meals for those in need, coordinate social outreach dinners, and prepare Christmas Food Baskets.

Cards

The Card Ministry sends cards to show love, care, and compassion.

Food Bank

The Food Bank Ministry serves as a liaison between NHCC and the Walton Food Bank. Additionally, NHCC sends food home to students in need of meals over the weekend (aka: Weekend Food Backpack Ministry).

Cookie

The Cookie Ministry welcomes new visitors to our church.

Prayer Shawl

The Prayer Shawl Ministry provides shawls for those suffering from illness to wrap themselves in God’s love and feel the power of prayer.

Special Food Ministry

The Special Food Ministry coordinates social events such as showers, birthday parties, holiday, and several other events.

The Food Ministry operates several events where you can come and enjoy food, great company and help support ministries such as Operation Christmas Child shipping costs.

Touchpoint Ministry

Reaching out to membership with encouragement, notes, phone calls, and visits.
